About

The Dance Den has been at the forefront of dance education in our region. We opened in 1980 and have been committed to dance excellence, education, and dedication.

Our staff has over 70 years combined experience teaching with the Dance Den. Our director has overseen the training of our entire staff, as our teachers began dancing at the Dance Den. We hold various dance and education degrees, among other certifications and awards within the dance field. Our instructors continue to enhance their education through summer development programs and through various teacher classes in New York City.

Our curriculum consists of: ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, pointe, lyrical, Zumba, and yoga. We offer these styles individually, and as combination classes, technique classes, performance classes, and competition classes. All students (except Zumba and yoga students) have the optional opportunity to perform in our end of the year recital. Our performance troupe has opportunities to dance in additional shows and our competition team participates in various regional and national dance competitions.
